Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 03/10/2026American here. Fun fact: I've had similar wait times for stuff. I've also been told there's no openings and I have to wait 3 weeks. But hey at least I have freedom, right? 🙄 020

Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Is he still whinging about the joke tweet you made to OperaGX? It's been days! I'd expect someone who's been as prominent on the internet for as long as he has to have thicker skin. 1110
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 02/10/2026It sucks that installing a custom ROM breaks a lot of things (Google wallet, RCS, some banking apps). Yes there are ways to get around it but they're kind of tedious and require updating security keys that eventually get flagged and blocked. I use one on my pixel 6 but I get why others wouldn't. 110
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Does it actually work well for 3D acceleration? I've got an old 1050 ti and I've always thought it would be great for a killer XP build alongside a first to fourth gen i series CPU if it was supported. 100
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 29/09/2026How picky is the Windows experience index that a 16 core CPU and 64 GB of ram only gets you a 7.6??? 111
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 28/09/2026The Halo series is one I definitely need to check out sometime. I haven't played any since I was a kid and even then it was just the split screen multiplayer at my friend's house because I didn't have an Xbox. 001

Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 25/08/2026That shouldn't matter. You can upgrade from 98 or Me to XP (albeit up to XP SP2 because SP3 has a bug in the installer on win 9x) 000

Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 28/06/2026That's what annoys me when something like this happens. People assume you're buying the right to do whatever you want with a movie. You're just buying a license to watch it at home. This is even the case with physical media. They just couldn't enforce it as easily. 000
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 26/06/2026And, speaking as someone who used a single hose unit during a bad heatwave a few years ago out of necessity, the negative part of the inefficiency is worth it to not die of heatstroke. Yes they're not ideal but if your choice is inefficiency or baking in your home? Choose the inefficiency. 040
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 26/06/2026I remember that. I think it took all of like 2 days for people to figure out you could bypass that in software. I didn't even know you could buy them separately until way later because of that. 000
Chad @chadmasta5.bsky.social · 24/06/2026I'll also add that an old, used laser printer of any kind is also good. I have an HP laserjet something or other from 2008 that has cheap toner, is USB only, and just works. If I want wireless printing I can always make a print server out of a raspberry pi or something. 010
