Yes! YES! The tigerS are OUT! Now the only thing left to do is decide…will you read Fate’s Bane first? Or The Sovereign? I made a handy flowchart that can help you decide which if you aren’t sure!!!

11) I'm not gonna make it to 21 tonight but my best advice to comic writers honestly is to draw a comic, color a comic, letter a comic. get to know what your colleagues are dealing with. and you will /know/ how to write in a way that your story will make it to where you want it to be

10) 30 pages of prose is not the same as 30 pages of comic script. it's like SUBSTANTIALLY less story. and you gotta make peace with that because trying to cram it in is shooting yourself (and your artist) in the foot and your end result will be disappointing

9) you can edit much more easily than the artist can. if you see something that needs changing in thumbs or pencils, state it then and there. if you don't see it until inks/colors, unless it's integral to the story, give it up. learn to see it earlier

1) action (any variety) will take way more panels/pages than anticipated. give it space 2) make it shorter. make it more meaningful. EVERY line is *precious.* do not waste them 3) if your chars are just conversating, no they aren't. they're eating, leaning, playing with sleeves, scratching noses

Trans public figures in Norway have been getting their medical records snooped on by health personnel who don't have permission to do so This would be an enormous scandal if it wasn't one of the minority groups whose rights we don't respect in this country

One bright side to being forced to live in an AI slop tornado is now I see my artistic mistakes as incredibly endearing. The human machine of my body made that weird line.
