Having never visited El Kab before, i was really impressed! Particularly interested in the graffiti (ancient to modern) seen across the wadi temples and tombs nearer the settlement. Clearly this has been an important place to visit for millennia and we’re just the latest in that tradition!

Of course, no visit to Middle Egypt is complete without a trip to Amarna - ancient Akhetaten, founded by Akhenaten. As well as the royal city, we also stopped by the north and south tombs and the royal wadi, as well as one of the boundary stela surrounding the city.
