100%. He got lucky early and drafted some stars (and inherited a few). But the old guys retired, the stars are being paid like stars, and we have zero mid round picks around to fill out the roster. Hell last season we signed two guys who got cut from other teams after training camp. It's that bad.

And our GM decided he had cracked the code to drafting and traded away mid rounds picks to get guys he liked who have been below replacement level, and so the depth isn't there because we have had like 8 less draft picks over the last three years than we should have
