Great to see PBL Teach out for test drives. Worked with an incredible team on the math portion and if you are wanting to get started with #PBL or see how it can be done in your subject area ask @pblworks.bsky.social for a demo. Watch an overview here: youtu.be/dxXbcSTcrE0?...

Watching the #WNBA is about watching great basketball. If any of the following teams are playing I'll be trying to watch: Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas, Golden State, Indiana, Las Vegas,LA, Minnesota, or NY. Luckily that means the other few teams will get my eyeballs because of matchups.

I’ll say it again: the conviction and bravery that the public is (often) looking for in athletes can be found in the WNBA. Other leagues need not apply.

Enjoyed the SXSW convo with @jay.bsky.team and ready to increase my usage. I need to figure out how to take multiple custom feeds and have them show in a single feed.

Dropkick Murphys just had an epic moment at their show: They made a friendly wager with a fan in a MAGA shirt—“Let’s see where it’s made.” Then they checked his MAGA shirt tag… Made in Nicaragua. They swapped it with a Made in America Dropkick Murphys tee. Legendary.

Article from 2018 that talks about dialogue from a few hundred years before that and is being discussed still, today.

Soooo, the scantily clad women (best known as BOTS) have started following me. Gee, I'm so flattered by these beautiful women who find a nearly 67 yo white guy worth following. It must be because I've been working with a personal trainer for the last 4 months. 🙄

When you used all of the (original) 120 characters on Twitter you scored a Twoosh. What shall we call it on here if you use the exact number of characters in your post? These are important questions that need answers.

When educators start following #Edusky, or #PBL, or some other education related group, they will discover what many of us discovered back in 2007 - there actually are people like me on this platform. So share your thoughts and ideas, your wishes and desires, or other helpful insights so we all win.

Now that I have a few people I am following and there are a few people following me, it was time to set up Deck.Blue. Nice to see those columns - almost feels like Tweetdeck.

I intend to really focus on empathy here. I want to be able to help facilitate learning for those in the education world and be a sounding board for others.

Decided to make this my "Education and things related to helping people" site. I'll keep Threads for all of my major news and politics stuff.

New on here. Left the Twittersphere about a year ago and jumped to Threads. Still there but looking for options. Glad to see some of those familiar faces on here. When you start with something in 2007 and become a community member it hurts to see it all die in the matter of months.
