a little transcript I made of Harry Lloyd’s explanation of how he views jayce and Viktor’s partnership, giving the most beautiful, eloquent, and heartfelt explanation… I can’t believe we get to see true, cosmic, soul-deep unconditional love like this, animated so beautifully.

Image depicting the quote:

“It is literally the closest bond that two people of whatever gender can have. It’s beyond the body. It’s absolutely… it’s soul partners, it’s beyond time and space. It’s… the biggest stakes in a relationship you can have. Even if they were married and had four beautiful adopted children, I don’t think it can be the same kind of power and connection of partnership that they have.

The sacrifice they both made— not only for this relationship, but for what this relationship also means: it’s kind of two halves of the structure that needs to be in place for this society to run in the end. And I think they both know that, and I think they’ve given everything to it.

So I think to say whether it is or isn’t ‘romantic’, quite frankly, would be to belittle it. It doesn’t really touch the size of how big a deal it is. Which is why I think the final image of them kind of beyond time and space kind of sums it up.” (continued in next alt description)

(continued from previous quote in alt image description)

“Whether they see each other again, or whether they live in a little cottage by the stream— it doesn’t matter. The connection is bigger than, I think, the connection between any other characters in the show, or in the world. It’s beyond that. It’s massive. And those final lines… the journey, what they both meant, what they both had to become to keep it… I find it very moving.” - Harry Lloyd, Viktor’s Voice Actor

Miquella the Kind I have so many ideas for new Jayvik stuff and so many unfinished personal projects but tattoo and commission work is taking up all of my time so here is some work from last year while I sink further into my frustrations. #eldenring #miquella #digitalart

Work in progress. Left is color and value map. Right is the current stage of the painting, covered in masking fluid. I feel like the canvas is judging me for not touching it for weeks now. :') #jayvik #arcane #traditionalpainting
