Text reading: Horatio has been the official face of our Caturday posts for years. He’s seen us through countless book and movie releases, celebrity birthdays, and social media trends. Today, Horatio is officially retiring to focus on his full-time hobbies: lounging and being pampered. We’re “fur”ever grateful for the joy he’s brought to our community and beyond.

We’re taking a pause on Caturday for now while we plan next steps for a regular fun Saturday post. Whether our future weekly updates feature a new four-legged resident or shift toward other library fun, we remain dedicated to Horatio’s mission of championing the importance of public libraries and celebrating diversity in arts and entertainment. We’ll always hold a space for the wonder and discovery that Horatio helped us share with you.

Our 2026 Caturday calendars have traveled far! Will Horatio and Jojo make it to all fifty states? Calendars will continue to be mailed through December 22 or until sold out. Once sold out, we'll make a preorder note on our Etsy shop and orders will be mailed by January 21, as we await new stock.
