i also just like "a big bowl" and this piece of wood had a lot of interesting things going on with some spalt rings and red flecking in the grain

130

This kind of wavy form I was really happy with but had trouble replicating it on further vessels. The wood really has to have the right consistency and texture for it (slow growth pattern, dense fibers) www.galdrecraft.com/product/wood...

Wavey almost rippled effect tumbler shaped turned vessel

The lid is a solid chunklet so it doesn't hold too many things but a few very special treasures fit within

130

Some stand outs. I really like this big chunky friend. Holds lots of little treasures. www.galdrecraft.com/product/wood...

Sweet cherry lidded vessel with an organic groove and hefty jar shape.

I like how the knots bend on the corner and the top lid grip and the moon glyph

One of the largest things I can make on my little hobby tabletop lathe but it holds lots of dice at the very least.

12 cherry hardwood vessels shot at a low angle making some of the bowls seem larger than they are and the ones in the back smaller than they are but it was the best photo of the group so i'm going with it, there are some pumpkins in the background to be festive
