I got home and the girl was on the chair in the living room! She was all eager to see me. I gave her food. She came into the bedroom and watched me. I turned and smiled at her. She HISSED AT ME. Then she left, ate more food, now she’s back again all happy and purring. 🤷‍♀️ CAT. Who the hell knows.

At pharmacy in professional building. I hate how they have the stairs right next to the pharmacy, it freaks me out. The floor just, stops, and there are the steps down. I’m sitting in a chair 5 feet away and I still keep looking to make sure I’m not somehow going to fall down the damn things.

I really don’t feel like going out todayyyyy. But I woke up too late to give myself enough time to come up with a better plan, and I haven’t enough meds to get through to next monday. I could make it to friday but the doctor is only there “in the mornings” and i don’t know what that means.

I actually have to go out to the hospital tomorrow. The very same lovely building where I had IOP. This came out of nowhere, but apparently that’s where my doctor is working at the moment. It’ll be my first time going out there in the autumn. Maybe I’ll get lucky and see a wild turkey??

Oh phew. Okay. I got my snap. It was $230 which is less than usual but at least it’s not $106. Funny how the last 2 years I’ve seen my snap allotment go from $294 down to $257, and now $230. And meanwhile inflation… But honestly I’m just glad I’m getting ANYTHING. I am really fortunate.

Damn hormones and perimenopause! I haven’t mentioned it but I’ve been having the worst night sweats lately. Like leaving the sheets damp. This is with the fan on me and the room between 69-72°. Right now I’m doing literally nothing, chilling in bed, and the back of my shirt is soaked through.

I met this lady last night. She had just turned 81. Landsakes, it was like my mother and my grandma both, at their most indignant, back from the grave. I was genuinely amused by her little jokes because they were so dark. Her life is all misery and death and she seems thrilled.
