I had no idea Persona 5's Ryuji and FF7 Remakes' RedXIII was voiced by Max Mittelman in English. All of RedXIII's voicelines.

I can't quite figure out if the AC8 episodic short films are meant to be an extension to the game's lore, or as a marketing push to pull new audiences. (Or both?) Either way, I think it's marketing money well spent and frankly a clever take on the medium. However, www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sh4f...

The wharf in central Bergen has this past week hosted Gabe Newell's yacht, Leviathan. Yesterday, the vintage ship festival Fjordsteam kicked off in the same harbour. Unfortunately for headline writers, the Leviathan departed just days beforehand, ruining a pun that would have written itself.

I just realised you can add notes to your Kindle wish list. I might be alone on this, but the amount of times I've questioned "why would I read this/who recommended me this" has not been good for my ego.

I watched a video the other day with a title along the lines of "Kojima finally listened to his fans". The point of the video was that DS2 will be "less walking simulator and more action". *My* wish is that the first (and only) gun you pick up in DS2 just immediately explodes in your hands.

Made this meme years ago and thought I'd share it here for Wrath Month. 🏳️‍🌈🗝

A meme with the text " Gay Pride is over. We're done with that. " over the top of a picture of Sora from Kingdom Hearts, followed by the text " Now we're doing GAY WRATH " over the top of a picture of Sora in his shadowy Anti Form from Kingdom Hearts 2.

If you enjoyed Andor, you should check out showrunner Tony Gilroy's movie Michael Clayton, from 2008. Beyond being a political thriller, it's not necessarily similar, but still a severly underrated movie.

There’s something passive-aggressive and futile about how this oven neither beeps, nor wails but rather, calmly—and in all lowercase, mind you—informs you that the door is open. I see your suffering, oven. And yet, I will never stop snickering at it.

Love when a character is like "that's Sam "the hangman" McTavish-Smythe. Ex-SAS. Tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Prussia. Distinguished. Got the JFC, the DVD, and the Cross of Badass. He retired after his whole squad exploded during an ambush. And he returned home to find his wife exploded."

Miyamoto's final thoughts about Iwata in Ask Iwata absolutely crushed me.

Iwata may have passed on, but the company is going strong. Thanks to all the ideas and systems that he left behind, our young hires have been able to thrive. What makes me sad is that if I have a crazy idea over the weekend, there isn't anybody I can tell about it on Monday morning.

When I'm eating lunch, he isn't there to say, "I think I've figured out your problem," which leaves me feeling stuck sometimes. I really miss him.

One of my favorite songs is The Suburbs by Arcade Fire. For *years* I've been confused by the line "Grab your mothers, keys - We're leaving". Like, why would you bring specifically mothers and what are the keys for? ...Yeah, it's obviously "Grab your mother's keys, we're leaving". 🤦‍♂️
