Bio-based does not automatically mean circular. A textile fiber can be made from renewable bio-resources and still end up as waste after a short use phase. True circularity depends on durability, reuse, repair, recycling, and responsible end-of-life management. #CircularTextiles #HorizonEU 🧪

🧪 Circular textiles work when fibres are designed for recycling from the start. Cellulose fibres offer potential for circular textile systems: cellulose is renewable, available, and can be engineered with recyclability in mind. That’s the focus of Cellfil EU project. #EUresearch #Sustainability
