#Hamlet by Chela de Ferrari at @dublintheatrefest.bsky.social had me on the edge of my seat, sinking into it, clinging onto it and springing off it to disco on the stage. What a wonderful show and what wonderful artists! Hope it keeps touring: the world needs it.

#Whitewashing’s dramaturgy of interweaving demands to slow down, witness and feel histories of oppression, domination and destruction. The actors perform a strong corrective of history through black, ecofeminist poetry and choreography. Left with goosebumps. @dublintheatrefest.bsky.social

When I was a child, my grand-parents – who lived through the war in France – told me: "we ate brown bread first and white bread next, but for you, it'll be other way around." I knew they were telling me something important, but I am only realising the full scale of their warning.
