My hand/arm-muscles ache now after my 4th day 2hour-session. Got a bit worried, so checked online if it was normal. It apparently is. Building new muscles to hold a weight like that... and it said it could take weeks or MONTHS! 😭 So thanks for your kind words! My aim is Vivaldi's sonata in D major🤗

Music has always been a part of my life. Sang in choir, played the piano, took up recordian and tin-whistle (easier t8 carry with you), started with key-fiddle after uni. My sight is too bad for reading notes now, so wanted to fill my choir-void. But dang,silver-flute is tricky, but so pretty!

I started playing silver-flute 3 days ago. Very different/harder than recordian I used to play. Have no teacher so listened to tutorials on the tube. Lots about posture. Today I played my first full scale, figuring out 2nd octave, but i found 3rd too!! Got nobody to celebrate with, so 🎉 pls. #music

Thank you! ❤️ Those are good pointers. I did find myself using 'but' a lot. This round of editing I've been jumping on inconsistencies, breaks in the flow and pouncing on those small filler-words which might not be necessary. It's hard and sometimes painful work.

Thank you, I am! Perhaps my head is screwed on better, but it seems I woke up one day and was able to do sentence/line-edits. o_o 'This does not make sense', 'This is not necessary', 'This would flow better if you rearranged it like so...'. I am a wee bit proud of myself 🤗

Btw, I don't say this because I know better. Every week I'm shown I don't. Worrying that if I don't write exactly 'like that', nobody will read my books. I never edit/write after these mails any more, but I read them for those tiny morsels of how to Think, another perspective. But I'll write as Me.

...writing it has no idea how or what I write. They just write general advice for mainstream novels. I just wanted to tell you, you awesome writers, that it is fine to listen to/read advice. Do. But remember, you don't need to follow them All to the letter. You're writing Your book. Your story. ❤️

Tehehe. At present, rewriting my mystery romantasy. The MMC is a vampire, which in this empire means he's a noble. XD Having a lot of fun with it. In my world vampires and other such species evolved naturally due yo magic, so no boring 'only at night' for them!
