Spoon carving badger was going to have a lovely scene with a log and axe but making the axe ended me up at minor injuries getting my thumb strapped up back together (oopsy) so here he is with no axe for now! Should heal in a week they said and no washing dishes till then, so that’s a silver lining!

Been celebrating my boy’s birthday today. He was working all day Friday so we celebrated today with coffee and Swedish cinnamon and cardamom buns I baked A friend shared a tutorial to make rosehip hearts for the garden, but being me I made it mouse sized! Sending Big birthday love to you all ❤️

There will be a collection of velvet winged Batties (and some non flying mice too) Saturday 5th Sept 8pm. I put little coloured pipe cleaner collars on them like you get on puppies, so you can tell who is who, but they’re removable. Needle felted with stitched velvet wings so strokeable!
