Not surprised peeps are saying to "cut out the difficult places" - it seems like a simple solution that prevents more extreme restrictions in theory, but even if it was that simple csp won't. Apparently most of their traffic comes from outside countries. Still hurtful to see from other artists tho

Cubebrush allows nsfw with proper tagging on their marketplace from what I can find AND has a strict anti-gen ai stance, the only real restriction I've been able to find so far is that they don't allow explicit content on their actual forums (only artistic nudity at most).

Sketchfab is a double edged sword, their owned by epic games AND they allow gen-ai on their platform but from what I've seen they supposedly require the gen ai to be labeled at least and you can toggle off the search results which include it.

The difference of Artists just making time-lapses of their art to enjoy or to teach something VS. now it's mostly to defend themselves to show that they aren't AI art is just so disheartening. I hate having to question everything instead of being able to just see art and love it just cause.

There really should have been, and at bare minimum there should be a way for people or at least creators to export materials if their going to be removed so that entire assets aren't just permanently lost if csp decides ro randomly nuke stuff.

掲載の判断について、「どの表現が対象になるのか」「どのように修正すれば公開できるのか分かりにくい」というご意見があることも認識しています。掲載の可否は、特定の部位や表現だけで一律に決まるものではなく、素材全体の内容や見せ方、掲載情報などを含めて確認しています。また、掲載の判断で考慮する点や必要な対応は、現在も変わりつつあります。今後、掲載ルールの説明や代表的な例を充実させ、投稿前に判断しやすい情報を増やしてまいります。

本来は、年齢制限や地域ごとの表示制御、コンテンツフィルターなどを使い、より細かくゾーニングできることが望ましいと考えています。今後は、年齢や地域、利用者の設定に応じた表示の仕組みを強化していく予定です。

CLIP STUDIO ASSETS is currently used by people in many countries and regions. Some expressions can be perceived very differently depending on the age, culture, and region of the user. Therefore, when it comes to sensitive expressions, it is more important than ever to consider not only whether they can be published or not, but also who they are for and how they should be displayed.

This decision to keep the work private does not negate the work or the artist's expression itself. Nor is it intended to label the work as containing "inappropriate expression." It is simply a decision based on how it can be published within the current public service of CLIP STUDIO ASSETS.

We understand that some users have expressed concerns about the publication process, such as "which expressions are subject to restrictions" and "how to modify content to make it publicly available." Our publication decision is not based solely on specific parts or expressions; rather, we review the entire content, presentation, and publication information of the material. Furthermore, the points we consider and the necessary actions in our publication decisions are constantly evolving. In the future, we will enhance our explanations of publication rules and provide more representative examples to make it easier for users to make informed decisions before submitting.

Ideally, we would like to be able to zone more precisely using age restrictions, region-specific display controls, and content filters. In the future, we plan to strengthen the display system based on age, region, and user settings.
Rather than offering a binary choice between "display to all users" or "not making it public at all," we aim to allow users to publish their work in a way that suits the content of their expression. We will continue to improve the ASSETS system and operation to support a wide range of creative expressions, aiming for both a safe and reliable user experience and the ability to handle diverse forms of expression.

Ya, I've seen some people saying they use an ai moderation tool Most sites do so that's not surprising, but I'm not sure the validity of that, if its true I 100% wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened! It honestly is the only thing that makes sense with some of the stuff that was removed.

Since this is popping a little, it's important to mention CSP supports material imports - so you can buy an asset somewhere else & import it then use it in your program, it's not as convenient as the asset store but it's not fully bleak! There are asset platforms that also support NSFW, too!!

Especially since csp has it set so that even if you spent gold or points towards something, if you didn't actively have that asset downloaded to your program before it's removal you're just screwed. There's no reimbursement or anything either, so you lose the money AND the asset.

Ya, this is an insane level of overreach. There are even color palettes and texture brushes removed for somehow violating, like how does a wood grain texture violate it? CSP supports material imports, so I'll likely be looking to source assets from outside csp at this point.

Just some of the assets I've had removed from my own library for example - 3d models (particularly models with female anatomy), 3d torsos & body parts, CSP official pens, octopus tentacles, poses (including pinup, poses with female models, couple poses, etc), texture brushes (plant textures, etc).

I can confirm from checking my own downloads - a whole bunch of things were for sure removed; I even get this notification when viewing assets which have been removed... Keep in mind many of these were gold/points purchases & you're not reimbursed on removal despite not being able to use the asset

CSP news ( #clipstudio ): apparently admins decided to crack down insanely on the asset store and proceeded to delete a TON of assets, including assets that didn't actually violate the current TOS. Supposedly according to reddit, staff are saying nothing spicer than hand holding will be allowed.

I wouldn't worry too much until it sits for like a week that would be super abnormal, but by that point both you or the receiver can open a missing mail claim which will put a temporary hold on it so they can find it but normally a missing mail claim is enough to get it back in gear again!

So it doesn't always mean it hasn't left! sometimes the package leaves but they aren't scanned even tho their supposed to be until they get to the next distribution center, so it can look like a package sits for 2 to 3 days before it's scanned again but it's moving that whole time.

I wouldn't panic! The US postal system can be a little screwy, if it hasn't left customs yet then it's probably just waiting to be processed and released, which can take a hot minute. If it has left customs, it's likely just in between major hubs!!
