I've done a lot more painting than posting lately. Here's my mercenaries for a campaign I'm in! They are Serrano's Sparrows, former members of the Republic Armed Forces, and now trying to make ends meet as mercs. #battletech

What's your favorite Battletech design? Rugged. Resilient. Reliable. I've loved the Thunderbolt from the moment I laid eyes on it, and playing with it only made me love it more. What a trooper.

Forgot I never posted the finished lance! Still working out lore, and whether or not my future Clan mechs are gonna be part of the same unit and painted the same, or be their own thing. I feel SO much better about this lance compared to my first one. Speedpaints really are magic. #battletech

My first 40k miniature! I don't have lore or a symbol yet for my homwbrew chapter, so shoulder symbols will get added later, along with a base. This took me approximately 10 hours so far, I'd say. I know there's improvements to make on later ones, but I'm proud of myself. #warhammer #warhammer40k

Awesome, online. Decided to try some weathering. Maybe got out of hand in some places but I'm happy with how it turned out for my second mech, and first attempt at proper weathering. #Battletech

Post your first RPG. When I was around 12-13, I was starting to get really into Star Wars and at the time SW Saga Edition (a d20 system) was the newest SW ttrpg system and I was gifted the core book for my birthday. It's kinda like D&D 3.5 but Star Wars, and I still have all my books.

My first 40k novel was The Twice-Dead King: Ruin. Cannot recommend it and the sequel, Reign, enough. It has some of the humorous necron writing of Infinite and the Divine, but also is firmly grimdark and deeply tragic. Basic necron backstory knowledge is helpful, but not necessarily required.

My favorite Inner Sphere mech in each weight class. -Light: Hermit Crab -Medium: Cicada -Heavy: Catapult -Assault: Marauder II It's a tough one for the light mechs, there's too many I love. Honorable mention to the Gùn, Locust, and Raven (not pictured). #battletech

Alright battletech fans, sell me on your favorite mech(s)! From what I've looked at so far (am baby MechWarrior), I really like the Thunderbolt for its jack-of-all-trades nature, and the clunky, asymmetrical look that just feels really heavy and industrial.

Some deer I saw earlier this year on a nature trail 🥰 They were so calm and used to people being around there. I got within a couple arms' reach of both of them before they walked off.
