We are devastated to hear Jacob Geller's recent admission. His work was a source of inspiration for the Tale Foundry team for years. Suffice it to say, there are plenty of other good places to find inspiration. We'll be seeking those out.

#inktober and it's an original idea: apple🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏 I mean that was for Day One🤗

7 different cultivars of apples are artistically made on a sketchbook. This is part of an annual October art challenge Inktober. One Knobbed Russet apple which is a weird knobbly fruit, like tumors are part of its body. There's the Champion apple with its blood red orange color. Aport apple which is among the smaller apples & bright red skin with neon yellow stripes or spots. Malus Sieversiie is the only wild apple from Kazakhstan & where most domesticated apple variants come from, with its rich deep red skin and bright leaves and distinct end. Pink Pearl apple is unique for having a bright orange or yellow surface with a bright pink fruit inside. Mutsu is one of the Japanese apples sold in its country, with a recognizable bright green or even bright red with yellow, red and green spots and stripes. Landsberger Reinette is another small apple with a more oval width and bright golden green hue that gradiates color to a warm orange or red.

My complaint about The Odyssey (2026) is that all 3 hour films should legally be required to include a pee break intermission

I have seen the Odyssey and my main takeaway is that it’s time to give John Leguizamo an award for not only being great but singlehandedly improving EVERY FILM HE IS IN.

Odyssey is a 173 minute film and the right is losing their shit over 16 minutes of diversity…

Folks complaining the actors in The Odyssey don't look Ancient Greek are oddly nostalgic for the era when John Wayne was apparently the most qualified Mongolian on Earth.

I believe most artists who advocate better rep for fat bodies in popular art are sincere, but it's still very funny when they get the advocacy and kinks wires crossed and end up going "this is what REAL bodies look like" followed by a drawing of Samus Aran with an ass twice as wide as her shoulders.
