Wielicki will "cite" papers/articles he hasn't read and totally misrepresent them. eg He lied that this article showed "the climate is just not that sensitive to CO2". The article actually said the CESM1 model is the most accurate with an ECS of 4.2C ! par.nsf.gov/servlets/pur...

Or the flawed paper Alimonti et al 2022 (like Wielicki, none of them are climate scientists). It was retracted as the conclusions of the article were not supported by evidence/data provided by the authors, but Wielicki posted it

It is premature to attribute the Nepal disaster to climate change: we cannot yet say how much warming temperatures and melting glaciers contributed to this specific event. But risks of glacier collapse in a warming Himalaya are clearly growing. My latest at The Climate Brink:
