Da NM und PS ja auch philosophiegeschichtlich zusammenhängen, ist diese Parallele nicht verwunderlich, aber ebenso interessant und reflexionsbedürftig. Hierfür bedarf es auch explizite Antworten, die die politische Distanz und die "analytische" Parallelen produktiv hinterfragen und kritisch wenden.

Toller Thread, danke! Ich denke da auch an augenscheinlich thematische, begriffliche Parallelen zw. New Materialism und faschistischen Aufgriffen lebendiger Körper. Lars Tønder hat mich im Gespräch darauf hingewiesen, dass Menschen der "faschistische Klang" dieses theoret. Vokabulars auffällt.

Up until today, I had little idea about Bourdieu's amazing photographies from his time as a soldier in colonized Algeria. Seen these at Kunsthalle Bielefeld, they're on exhibit until march 2026. It runs under the header of "gender, rule, and visuality".

I'll have a look into this! I work on how Anders conceived some form of elevated futural orientation, and since his work tries to preserve agential freedom one could conclude that absolute freedom (and the max. of corresp. futurity) might be relevant to this form - which I was skeptical about.

The trope of prophetic/visionary philosophers is misleading to the extent that these never looked into the future but felt the deep layers of the fabric of their times. Hannah Arendt would have especially disliked such a characterization. Still interesting issue though!
