Oh wow, just read this today. Falsely moving someone's registration to another state would be a great way to prevent them from being able to vote. We're going to need proof of residency at our current address when we show up at the polls...

My husband went to vote in our state primary today.

When he got to the polling location, they couldn't find a record of him being a resident. After some research, they said the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in our state showed that he moved to the District of Columbia (DC) in December 2025, so his license was invalid. He definitely did not move to DC, although that is the state he moved here from in 2023. The physical drivers license he had in hand was valid starting in June 2023. Did someone steal his identity in DC, or was this a glitch in the system for the DC DMV, or something else? He checked his credit report and didn't see anything suspicious.

It sounds loopy, but when I see unusual clouds / colors I feel the need to send you a photo for your collection. You've really made me pay attention to the colors, for which I am grateful. 🙏

I'll concede that thundershowers can have interesting structures too.

My brother found some in his yard, but I think they bloom a deep burgundy color? They grow wild in the woods around his neighborhood.

Looks like an SM-58 microphone! You probably don't want to hear my 75° and sunny at the moment... but we had snow the past Monday!

I celebrated as a junior high student because registration for the draft was suspended "indefinitely". Woo I wasn't going to get drafted! Senior Year: psych! The Iranians were exporting their fundamentalism across the Middle East and it looked like we were headed to war. Registration resumed. Boo. 😖
