In @sfjournal.bsky.social, Emma Williams-Baron, Erin Macke, and I argue that the rise of remote work has implications for gender inequality in hiring. We find participants imposed motherhood penalties on applicants for in-person jobs, but not for remote jobs. academic.oup.com/sf/article-a...
