Where does the idea come from that inquiry-based learning is the driving philosophy & principal practice of American public schools? It's a criticism I see frequently to justify a "shift" toward teacher-driven instruction when, from what I can tell, we never left in the first place. 🤷🏼‍♂️

We're going a unit on self -identity and what a person's brand can be. Trying to come up with an interview process where we encourage students to recognize/record the strengths of their peers because they dread saying nice things about themselves in a classroom. Any suggestions? #EduSky

Thanks! The badging for the staff and students surprised me, but it made sense when I thought about it. I've heard of badges before, but didn't appreciate/understand the appeal. Now I'm working more with competencies and portfolios, badges are making more sense to me.

My co-teacher asked Ss to create linear story problems, using Chat GPT (with some parameters that made it so it didn't include the answer). Then Ss created images with Canva's AI image generator. The problems and images went into a Google slide deck for future practice and instruction. #EduSky
