I've been using FA since 2008 for free, I figure I can start giving $5/month for the FA+ sub. Whatever you feel about FA, it's good to understand there's not a lot of adult art bastions like it left. What will you do when there's none left?

because these shots should be free to everyone. I was just agreeing with him. But he was really emphatetic toward me and tried to give me resources for insurance..and he worked really hard to find good discounts for the flu shot.

Things I didn't really think about in my post-insurance life: covid and flu shots cost money and they are EXPENSIVE. I skipped on covid. The pharmacist who gave the flu shot for me went on a frustrated rant about the current admin and how angry he was that the government doesn't care about us-

Yeaahhh, that's why I decided not to update drivers immediately... rather wait a week or two so they roll all the patches

I'm gonna continue my social media break and overall try to reduce screentime... I will come back in to post some art tomorrow I think...and next week I do -have to- open for new work.

160

There's only so much 'exposure therapy' I can take when I can't have a break from it at all. Just venting a little. In the past few months all of this has greatly affected my work; I'm doing my best but I'm really sorry...the slowing down is starting to be noticeable.

That even the tiny things, that you should be able to shrug off, feel really big. Not much peace exists for me, I'm constantly being exposed to things or put in situations that are very upsetting (tied to trauma stuff etc).

130

I've not been doing well for a long time, I have actively felt like I'm losing it. I tried to do a little social media break, and the second I come back in for little longer I see something that upsets me again lmao. It's gonna always happen, but my brain has just been in such overdrive for so long.

Idk, you need your Drac or vampire character be little dangerous but also alluring, and that guy was just..nothing.

Watched the 2004 Van Helsing movie last night, I've never seen it before. It was dumb but enjoyable movie BUT it could've been improved by like 25% if they had casted a much more charismatic dude with lot more sex appeal to be Dracula : P But maybe they blew their budget with Hugh Jackman...

It's pretty tangible because my bar is pretty low after everything I've been through. I'll be happy if I can reach a point where I'm not crying or feeling like death every single day.

Got a confirmation letter from the court of the divorce. It's just been two weeks but the relief is immense. I feel like I've been tortured for 2 long years and it's finally just done. Should really get on my divorce era glow up

Literally the rule of thumb is... if Smiley is green in the episode (vs brown), it's a Miyazaki ep and guaranteed to be good.

Been watching Sherlock Hound lately, they only ever dubbed 13 out of 26 episodes in Finland - so I've never seen all of the show before. And I'm not even halfway through yet, but mmmmaaan so far it's pretty obvious the best episodes are the ones directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the others are kinda meh.

I haven't really got myself anything extra in a very long time. And I guess when I finally do frivolously spend my adult money, it's for a cat hand puppet... Idk it just spoke to me at the store (literally)

The "female slop" draws your artwork, writes your stories, creates your fursuits and much, much more. Get over yourself. Misogyny is a gross look, whether you're straight or gay or bi or other.

"Glad" to hear that I'm not the only one xP It's Mondays specifically that are so hard to get art going in any meaningful way...

Its...very silly movie overall, but it has some really good tension and suspense. It's definitely carried by all these good actors. My definite Sam Neill movie (besides Jurassic Park) would probably be In the Mouth of Madness :]

Sean Connery passed away a while ago now, but man... both Sam Neill and Tim Curry this year? u__u

characters depicted and context behind them... or all the "secret" art that was made, things that broke boundaries etc. Lot of things. And there's so much of it that I just have to see it sometimes. Again, just a me problem, none of these artists or friends knew what was going on, and still don't.
