Day 13 - Window - There's something about only seeing a small view of the bigger picture that can be entrancing sometimes. #Hrothtober2026 | #HRGpose | #Hrothgar

Darius standing in front of one of the large windows in solution 9, looking outside to the intense and awesome megastructure of neon lights and housing districts.

Familial Fragments. -- CW // Blood, Murder Okay so, remember when I talked about making a gpose comic? Well... @winter.etheirys.social 's was awesome in letting me comm them for a set of lore gposes! I've put them together in a comic format :] I can't stop staring at them .

A comic of three panels, depicting Darius and his uncle Branimir walking through the snowy area of Garlemald. Dialogue as follows:

"Thank you for entertaining me, sometimes it gets too stuffy amongst the demagogue."

"You know why I agreed to this."

Well, of course! Your eyes bore into me like daggers in there. You should be thankful they did not instantly obliterate you with that look of yours. You've always been the emotional type... I guess some things don't change, hah!"

"Why did you kill him?"

"Why? Pah. You should know that's a complicated question."

"Why was I left behind? Why was I forgotten about, tortured, drained of my empathy for those I once called family?"

"I howled for my brother to come back to me. I was shocked for my cries, beaten for my weakness... And yet, no one came to save *me* when I needed it most. Ironically enough... It was both his and your fault. Thankfully, someone had the sense to realize my absence, and they wanted justice delivered..."

"What? Oh, come on. You Knew this was coming... Don't tell me: Did you think the Elder Blades wouldn't have a contingency for this?"

"They might have died, but the curse still lives on.. As does their vengeful wrath. So long as you and that bastard child Misija are still around, we're doomed to an eternal fate within that damnable sword."

"Now, be still. DON'T YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR FATHER AGAIN?"

The last mental thread of Darius' mind would snap. Knocking the gun out of Branimir's hand, he'd pounce on him, pinning him into the snow.

Darius would snarl, his sharp teeth bared as tears fall with pure rage. A loud crunch would be heard, and the last panel would depict Darius ripping out Branimir's throat, proceeding to maul him.
