I first became aware of DEI in 1985. Thanks to Val Kilmer and Real Genius. Then... decades later those letters came to mean something different. Something... bigger and better. I hoisted the woke/DEI flag over my shoulder and brought it to skilled trades unions in and around DC, successfully.

I am Jack's sense of Humanism and Progressivism. I was never really a Dem. I converted briefly to support Obama twice. Sadly the country as it stands does not embrace humanism or progressive values. Looking after one another, regardless of race or beliefs. So something new and big must be grown.
