Tbh anyone I know who's invested in bitcoin, or any form of crypto has lost pretty much all of it....so, yeah, ok, ho hum....It's a ponzi, so unless you create the coin, and/or do a pump and dump, the odds are you can get more playing the pokies at a casino...

My bet, he's alive, had a massive stroke & has been undergoing therapy...how much of him's still there is anyone's guess...I work with brain injured people, they can look perfectly fine & sometimes have lucid conversations, albeit simple ones, while being totally doo lally...my guess is that's him.

Only if we don't look at the actual policies, and people in each party. Yes, sadly most don't...but the rest of us need to encourage them, because as has been seen in some of the primaries in the US having the big bucks means nothing if the other policy/person is better...

It's interesting that a lot of people are now turning away from AI, for various reasons. My thinking is it will have a place, but for most people, even in business it's really using it's appeal as an all or nothing solution to everything...

He's a prime example of waste & inefficiency. He admits we have a govt agency to check immigration levels, overstayers, etc, but they've cut staffing there - so rather than use that & staff it effectively, he'll create another dept that he controls at huge cost. 🙄

I can attest to the fewer drivers thing - I've done Tuatapere to Picton, & Wellington to Cambridge & back in the 10 days (family stuff, not just for a drive) & considerably less traffic, on both weekend & weekdays. (I did the entire Desert Road with 0 in front of me - that never happens!)

It's obvious that planning/prepping isn't something this lot are good at or interested in. I'm just hoping we can hold out till November. Meanwhile I'm praying there's enough gas in the country to get me back to Wellington in 15 days from Sthland. (Wouldn't be here if it wasn't absolutely necessary)
