Commission for Inmyghoulera ♥ I developed the character design for a reference sheet based on the client's description 🔥 Thank you for the opportunity to work with such an interesting character! 🥰 #characterdesign #referencesheet #gargoyle

So I’m happy when people commission similar characters from me haha. It was also great to draw such lighting, all sorts of glowy things in the dark are beautiful 🥰 Thank you so much for the commission! It was very nice working with you! 😭❤

But still, I’ve seen some snippets of this cartoon and I remember this guy too, I liked him. But I’m generally a sucker for all long-haired men, and if they also have light hair, then oooh ultra-norm!!

Commission for Lada Yarukhina ♥️ An unexpected commission topic for me haha, unfortunately I don’t know the fandom, because I was into Winx.. As they say, people are divided into two types — those who watched W.I.T.C.H. and those who watched Winx 🤣 #witch #Phobos #willvandom

It's my birthdayyy today 🥰🔥 As is the custom for artists — I'm posting my works! I'd love reblogs if you like my art 👉👈 Thank you all for the support! ❤️ Thank you to my wonderful commissioners who trust me with your characters and stories!

I really love how the 3/4 view turned out — that slightly sickly gaze, oof. I can totally picture him about to pull something that nobody's gonna like 😃

CatrineNice @catrinenice.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I generated the front view based on my own sketch, but I also added some Pinterest photos with the kind of look that I think fits this character. Wanted to hint at his... head issues 😅 so I slapped on some light under-eye circles.

If any Skyfall folks are reading this — does he look the part? 👀 Does the vibe come through, or did you picture him differently? Feel free to drop pics in the comments of how you see the characters, by the way!

For some reason I started with Silas. Even though he's currently got zero screen time planned 🤣 Oh well, who else are you gonna start with if not the dad? ahah

Wheee! I finally got around to making concept art for the Fallocaust characters 🔥 I wanted to try generating a scene from it at some point, to make it look like a movie still, but first I need to nail down the characters' looks. #fallocaust #SilasDekker #AI

Why do referenced drawings look cool, but drawing from imagination looks wonky? This video covers how my reference approach stalled my skill growth, how analysis works, and a pipeline for deliberate drawing 💪 VIDEO: youtu.be/AkEOGlpd35U?... #2DArt #tutorial

YCH commission for bloodorangne (FA) ❤️ This is the same character who was in that winter forest artwork recently — she’s continuing her bloody deeds 😅 And I tried out lighting with overexposure again, I really like how these kinds of pictures look 🥰 #イラスト

I made a talking video reading my article on the history of copyright, AI, and recent Grok/Google updates. It’s in Russian, but YouTube added English subtitles + auto-dub. Would love your feedback on both the topic and the translation quality! 😌 Video: youtu.be/UONfJdeicwY

Inspired fan art for Lies of P — Romeo, the King of Puppets ❤️ Bought my first ever souls-like just because of this guy 🔥😅 Never even played Dark Souls before, but after seeing the King of Puppets in a let’s play I had to experience the story myself. #LiesOfP #イラスト

A super-mega-giga large-scale commission that I worked on for several months 😅😱🔥 Loved the brief — it’s always a joy when clients ask for story-driven pieces and this one was a horror narrative with monsters on top of that! Totally my thing, whew 🔥 #horror #イラスト #monster

Illustration for the artbook "Indian Mythology" by ARTMIF. Character — Ashwatthama. I had long wanted to draw something for Artmif, and I’m very happy the chance finally came 🔥 I got an awesome character who fit perfectly into my darkening style 😅💪 #ARTMIF #horror #イラスト

Finally playing The Evil Within after owning it forever 🔥 Thought it’d be too scary, but turns out it’s totally fine. Either my memory lied or I just got older lol. Also got re-hyperfixated on my ancient waifu Ruvik and had to draw him 💋😅 #tew #theevilwithin #horror #イラスト

This is basically a continuation of the recent artwork where Reaver and Killy were walking around the city. Now they've gone somewhere outside the city, and Reaver is all grumpy because, apparently, buses in the Plaguelands tend to be late 🤣

CatrineNice @catrinenice.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

An illustration for the event 'Stops', organized by Abyss Kitty (tg). The idea: several participants sign up, and each one has to draw their own bus stop 🔥 Naturally, I decided to make yet another piece of fanart for my favorite universe 🌚😅 #fallocaust #イラスト

I sketched a hilarious scene from Fallocaust that made me crack up on the spot – one of those “funny meme, terrifying situation” moments :D I love the chapters narrated from Reaver's point of view so much. His reactions are so funny, and he cracks the best jokes 😅 #Fallocaust

I tried to cover the topic of generative AI as broadly as possible: discussing real problems, myths, analyzing popular arguments from AI proponents (like comparison to photography), and covering current legal cases.
