and from the looks of it, @krita.org has plans to do what Musescore did and replace the Qt Widgets dockers with QML. Definitely a tightrope walk but it can provide some huge UX wins if pulled off just right.

"This year, we intend to work on replacing the tool option dockers with QML so we can use those both in the mobile and in the desktop version of Krita."

an example of how i use temp music when i edit (flashing lights warning) also the editing here was way more extreme than in the actual short film. i'm proud of it but this was definitely me going too far for the purpose of reeling it back for the final product
