Fierce little storm on Wednesday night caused hundreds of these brilliant blue Velella velellas to wash up on the beach in Oceanside on Thursday morning. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velella #OregonCoast

Scattered rocks on the sand with a bright blue sea creature called a Velella velella in the middle. It is oval shaped and has small tentacles around the entire edge.

A dove in flight as a 2-dimensional collage. The watercolor paper dove has been covered in printed light blue and purple paper with tiny hearts and it only shows around the edges. Adhered over the paper is a purple felt bird, embroidered with the word "peace" on the belly and with an iridescent purple flower-shaped bead for an eye. The tail and wing feathers are embellished with 3 layers of wavy colored felt strips of fuchsia, lavender and pink adhered to the purple felt base of the bird.

Hand printed collage papers using acrylic paints and found objects to make patterns: produce bag netting, rubber bands, and crumpled aluminum foil. Bright primary and secondary color themes used for each of the 3 sheets.

In #PDX the city keeps the historic sidewalk horse hitches where possible. When I moved in 3 years ago, I inherited a troll attached to my hitch. After a troll and other new talisman kidnappings, I now have a new mermaid, with lots of extra securement. 🤞🤞🤞

Pink mood. All decorated papers I created, many using a gel plate.

On a white background, 4 rows of 3 each mostly pink colored squares of hand decorated papers arranged evenly. Each square has a smaller square inside of a different paper, with either a triangle or a circle inside that of another decorated paper.
