Just watched: Lady. Extremely funny, surreal, and surprisinly affecting - I loved it! For some reason, the hat just absolutely ended me. See it in a theatre bc it's so fun to hear other people cracking up at different bits

It's probably around 1/3 of the park area - granted the ponds are also not usable as sitting/walking/sports space, and if entered off the midpoint of the canal, a short walk wld be required, but really majority of the park remains functional

I watched Mandy for the first time, and wow, that film was crazy good! I don't usually like this kind of blood & guts horror, but it's beautiful, and the plot, simple as it is, is keenly observed in terms of what makes a villain, his simpering sidekicks, and the offence he takes at being laughed at

Morning run - a lovely morning

River Lea, peaceful and still under the soft light of morning. Burnished brown reedbeds line the sides of the river, footpaths snaking alongside. Played around with an idea for a Hard Truths poster. I really enjoyed the film - an astonishing performance from Marianne Jean-Baptiste!
