Snuck this in last week but it seems stable: Recent Departures You can see the last 5 trips up to 5 minutes in the past for your stop. This is useful when you want to: • see if you just missed a bus • follow your trip on the map but have already departed Feedback welcomed, do try it.

Demo of how to enable Recent Departures feature. Tap on More options icon (triple dot) on stop screen, then 'Show Recent Departures' in the menu to toggle the feature on.

Catchy updates for today: • Wellington Station departures show platform numbers if known, • map stop panels now show live departures, • dropped pins will show nearby stops (drop a pin with a long press/click or search for a location), • updated route badges for trains, • tweaks and speed ups

New feature: Timetable view From stop pages, tap the Departures label above the date to switch to Timetable view. Use the < and > to cycle through days to see available trips on each day. Timetable view is accurate for available dates, including public holidays, and respects saved filters. Enjoy!

First update for 2026: • Added ‘Recently Viewed’ stops to the bus and train sections. This makes it easier to return to a stop that’s not necessarily a favourite. • Added support for the new train replacement bus services • Fix a bug in reordering favourites (this was reported by a user 🧡)

Update: • Added the option to turn on bus details at bus stops. This will give you the bus’s ID, licence plate, and icons for electric and double deck. • + Performance updates and bug fixes. Bus data isn’t provided by Metlink so may be spotty. Please report any issues to feedback@catchy.nz

A day for minor improvements: • Snapper balances now show IOU balance if card balance is zero. • Improvements to trip alerts on trip pages. • Other small performance improvements and bug fixes.

Update: • Somewhat fixed live ferry status on Ferry page • Other bugfixes and software updates Ferry data is patchy for some reason (has become worse over time). I will try and find out more about this.
