Test-Patches of fur shaved to different length. I think I'll go with the shortest length (right) for the fingers, longest shave (2nd from left) for the hand and full length (left) for the arm. :wlf:

At some point I'll have to decide if and how short I'll trim the fur of the hand and fingers... Currently this is more like a Wookiee paw. :wlfChuckle: Those paw pads get lost in the fur. I'll trim the fur for the other hand-paw right away, so sewing would be a lot easier, too.

Beans... Paw beans... :wlfHyper: FYI: I sew the cut in the fabric close by hand afterwards, so the filling won't get lost.

Photo of the backside of some faux fur-fabric of a finger. The outline of a toe bean is visible through a dark-red thread that was used to sew something to the other side of the fabric. A cut through the faux-fur fabric is visible in the middle of the outline.

Same faux-fur finger. This time my thumb is visible, too, holding some filling material above the cut. The end of a large metallic crotchet-needle is visible, too. The needle is used to poke the filling material through the hole.

Backside of the fabric after stuffing it with filling material. The fabric inside the sewn outline is bulging outwards. The cut is now wide open and filling material is visible.
