Looking at my bsky posts, gas is up *fifty cents* in *three weeks* This ARCO station is typically the cheapest in town, tied or a couple cents more expensive than Costco. I notice it because I pass it on my way to work. Usually gas isn't on my radar; it costs what it costs. But this is wild.

YES! I had to *teach* myself to read GN effectively; it takes a whole different type of focus and when I talk to kids who read them? They pick up points I still miss! This is authentic reading + visual decoding, and it's a critical 21st C literacy skill. (In fact it's part of CA grade 5 standards)
