Good job, Otto, you really killed that bird toy

Actually it doesn't even need to be hot, Otto just likes being a Window Cat when it's open

During heat waves, Otto likes to sit right in front of the windows we open.

Starling has discovered our new dining room furniture makes for a good hiding spot.

Otto looks like he wants something. Did you forget to feed him?

Otto the orange cat is seen from above, sitting on a blue and gray rug. He's looking up intently at the camera.

Otto told me it’s Ginger Cat Appreciation Day, so here, have a picture to appreciate of Otto and Starling cuddling.

Otto and Starling, two orange cats, are cuddled up on top of a black blanket on a gray couch. Starling is looking at the camera, while Otto is napping the other way.

Otto is keeping watch through the window. Starling is napping (maybe it's his break time?)

Two orange cats are lying on the same level of a white cat tower in front of a darkened window. Otto, on the left, is looking out the window. Starling is curled up behind him asleep.

Long Starling isn't as long as Long Otto. I'm sure he'll figure it out eventually.

Starling the orange cat is sitting on a blue rug facing away from the camera but with his head turned back to look behind him, with his front paws out in front of him, and his tail stretched out straight behind him.

Who could say no to this face in the morning when he chirps and demands petting

For a cat who (as far as we know) grew up outdoors without being formally socialized, Starling sure does like to lay on soft things.

Starling, an orange cat, semi-loafing on a black and white throw pillow on a gray couch. This is the pillow that says "RESERVED for the CAT" on the other side.

Another angle of Starling in the same position on the throw pillow. He still manages to look sad.

Otto wants to learn how to play Rhythm Heaven. Not sure how he's going to hold the controller.

Otto, an orange cat, is sitting on the floor in front of a TV on which someone offscreen is playing Rhythm Heaven (the minigame with the flan robot). He's looking up at the screen attentively.

Otto likes the office tower too. In fact, he's more likely to spend time here lately than Starling.

In fact, they sometimes even (sort of) cuddle!

Otto and Starling, orange cats, lying on a white cat tower. This level has a "hutch" area covering the right half. Otto is sound asleep taking up almost the entire level, squishing Starling into the back corner of the hutch. Starling has one eye partially open to look at the camera.

Poor Starling had tapeworms and had to go to the vet. Here he is looking betrayed and sad.

Otto wrote a poem he wants me to share with you: "This is just to say zzz"

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

Otto has examined the box and approved it for use. Just in case you were wondering.

Otto, an orange cat, is sitting inside a cardboard box that has a lid opening from one side. The lid is mostly closed and kind of resting on his head.

Starling was just trying to come out and sit on the bottom of the tower, and honestly he is feeling so attacked right now.

Starling is laying on the bottom of a white cat tower. Otto is standing on the level above him, sniffing around below as if he's suspicious of something. Starling is not having any of it.

So, we adopted another cat about 6 weeks ago. We named him Starling, and he's been adjusting to living indoors and Otto's been adjusting to having a ... friend. Since there's two of them, I've decided not to post "first-person" most of the time anymore. 1/2
