Could Tyrannosaurus rex swim like its silver screen equivalent in the new Jurassic World film? The big carnivore was probably able to do the dino doggypaddle, but a big body full of air sacs may have been the reptile more of a "tipsy punter" than a skilled swimmer. I dig in at NatGeo. 🧪

I don’t talk about this publicly very often but having an anxiety disorder SUCKS. Waking up and being unable to move because your whole body is clenched SUCKS. Trying to hold back tears so your kid doesn’t worry SUCKS. And having it happen seemingly at random and being at a loss for what to do sucks

Having just finished my somethingth watch through of Boy Meets World, the ending feels bizarre, despite the excellent “Class Dismissed” final scene. The final two episodes are like 75% clip show, replaying scenes from throughout the series, intercut with occasional fresh scenes.

One of the things I always tell folks when they want to dismiss seeing an eagle (given I'm in AK, frequent, lol) it's this: we almost lost eagles, along with so many other large raptors, to DDT. It's taken decades for them to come back. Every eagle you see is a reminder we can choose to do better.

A lot of people focus on the fact that no one fact checked the output before publication, and that matters. But it’s also important to remember that “AI” technology is horribly broken. This is user error but it’s not JUST user error. “AI” doesn’t do what it claims to do.
