you ever think about how this is exactly what Vanitas must have looked like all those years he snarled his teeth through the tears of pain and fought Xehanort? because i can't stop

Vanitas feels so much so intensely, the Floods are a perfect example of this. they're the most common Unversed, with a name that could mean "overflowing emotion"/"flood of emotions". i think these are created when he's anxious or irritable, shown in their restless twitching

Nomura entrusted us with Ven and Vanitas, and he shouldn't have

Cass @cassidyleora.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

does Vanitas even know what a hug is? does he know what dancing is? or an actual bed? or how warm the sand is on a beach or how nice a field of flowers smells? does he even know what it feels like to have someone care about you or be there to hold you when you cry? does he know??

Vanitas, desperately fending off hugs from Sora, Ven, and Roxas:

Vanitas: "I'm the shadow that you cast, how much closer could i be?" Sora: "you just need a hug don't you" Vanitas, voice cracking: "....n,no"

do you..... d'you think Riku could ever bring himself to fight and hurt Vanitas? someone who wears Sora's face and cries out in pain in the voice of his bestfriend??

i..... really wish.... we could see Vanitas expression at this part....

i was thinking about Vanitas (as usual), this time about his keyblade--not only does he have 2 MoM eyes on his keyblade, but i feel there's more to the gear design. they mean nothing to his character/story, but you know what they DO remind me of........👀👀👀

LITERALLY RACED TO REWATCH THIS SCENE ON MY PS4 AND YES!! there are TWO Vanitas chess pieces--one on the dark side, the other waiting off the board on the light side. the dark piece is Vanitas from the past being used by Xehanort, the other is the real Vanitas in Soras heart??

Aqua, Riku, and Terra calmly chatting in their teacup ride while Sora, Vanitas, Ventus and Roxas are a blur with how fast they're collectively spinning theirs. Ventus is screaming.

Reasons Why Vanitas Could Totally Come Back: when Vanitas fades away in BBS, he is enveloped in light, the same light that then proceeds to cover Ven--this light being Sora's heart. even in the bbs novel, this point is made obvious. ("canon"or not, the game itself is clear)

I've begun a Gamified Exercise Challenge: in addition to neck PT and stretches, I've begun walking as many minutes as the date (so like, 19mins on the 19th, etc) to get the habit formed it's not a lot yet, but more than my sat-in-achair-hunched-over student self would ever do🎉

Two lips meet in spring 🌷💋🌷 #art #cottagecore #sapphic

A soft vintage-style drawing of two women in cottagecore spring dresses, one fair-skinned with strawberry blonde hair dressed in pink, the other dark-skinned with curly brown hair dressed in green. They lean in towards each other with their eyes closed, a large bouquet of pink tulips held between them and obscuring their faces in a demure fashion.
