October is Queer History Month. I encourage Gaylor creators to make content about things they've learned about Queer History from Gaylor under #GayTaytober. I am gonna officially make a video starting the trend tomorrow but giving you lead time to prepare. Non creators read below to get involved:

We just sat down with @scoopofsherbet.bsky.social for an interview about her wild week after being referenced in ~that~ Emmy's skit! Look for the write up coming soon to CassandraRecords.org to hear from our wonderfully thoughtful, intelligent, hilarious, and profound friend, Shelby 🍨🫶

Felt inspired to make a submission for the @cassandrarecords.org “what does it mean to be a gaylor” prompt yesterday. We can see you and we can hear you, T&T! 🫶

A white paper with a line drawn horizontal at the center. T&T split the line.
On top “we can see you…” with gaylor images drawn by me: 1989 eras tour outfit flagging, red scarf, pretzel, lesbian surprise song dress, daisy, hairpin, lesbian visibility day holiday vinyls, sheriff of gay town wig and badge, TNT explosive, proud bisexual bracelet, “I tried” headstone and daisy, MusE! In a rainbow with clouds, a violet eye crying, and a mirrorball. The progress pride flag.
On the bottom “we can hear you…” with gaylor lyrics and phrases written by me:
you can want who you want!
BOYS + BOYS + GIRLS+ GIRLS!
Then you wouldnt have to cry, or hide in the closet.
the rest of the word was BLACK+WHITE. But we were in SCREAMING COLOR.
IYKYK! And if you don’t you don’t.
like a rainbow with all of the colors.
SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT'S EVER BEEN MINE.
blues + purple + pink skies
I could still melt your world Argumentative Antithetical DREAM GIRL.
Glowing like the end of a cigarette wow she came out. “I said you’re living my dream!”
IT'S NICE TO HAVE DORTHEA.
Gay pride makes me, me!
You could hear a hairpin drop.
Closets like cedar preserved from when we were just kids.
Whether I’m gonna flip you off or pull you into the closet, I haven’t decided yet, but I’m gonna get you back.

more boots on the ground reporting from Daisy Chain Fields🌼 a lil incentive to encourage us to behave badly😏❤️‍🔥 "Do one thing. If it works, do another. If it doesn't, do another anyway. Keep chipping away!"

DAISY CHAIN

GUERRILLA GIRLS
'The Art of Behaving Badly'
Founded in New York in 1985, the Guerrilla Girls are anonymous artist activists who use
disruptive headlines, outrageous visuals and killer statistics to expose gender and ethnic bias and corruption in art, film, politics and pop culture. Their 'Complaints Department' invites visitors to air grievances (about the state of the world or anything else they want to express) on giant chalkboards alongside
GG billboards.
Gorilla masks conceal their identities; dead female artists serve as pseudonyms.
Their motto: Do one thing. If it works, do another.
If it doesn't, do another anyway. Keep chipping away!

You can see a few people riding on the walls, including a young girl being held up by someone to write at the top of one of the walls

some of the more prominent messages you can see "protect queer kids" "fuck ice" love is love" "free Palestine"

At Cassandra Records, we 💖 the PARALLAX and we 💖 human made art. Show us what you made recently! We're still looking for art features in our debut zine 😏❤️‍🔥

A close up of the word 'parallax' from the last post in this thread.

Using a surgical knife (no joke), Izzinnia cut the drop shadows from the white paper and placed colored paper beneath to create this rainbow header for the website!!! 🌈 The result is both 2D lines & 3D letters, highlighting how two things can be true at once depending on your perspective 👯‍♀️

A white piece of paper being held outside in the sun. The word 'parallax' is written in the same illusion as the posts in this thread, but with a rainbow of shadow colors.

Using the cut paper alphabet font Izzinnia created as templates, Izzinnia traced where the drop shadows would go.

A piece of white paper on a craft mat. The letter P, A, R, L, and X are stencils cut out of pink paper. The word 'parallax' is written in the same style as the post before in this thread, just the shadows outlined to give an illusion of the word come up out of the paper.

To highlight our focus on the PARALLAX, Waverlee made a mockup & suggested we use a calligraphy technique she learned from her great-grandmother, a multi-disciplinary artist born in 1926. 🎨 🖼️🪡🧵🖋️

The TL;DR: In our free zine, we would love to publish your personal essays, poems, or visual art that answers one question: "What does it mean to be a Gaylor?" Since that's a big question, we wrote more specific prompts to get your creativity flowing 🎨🖋️

Submission
Guidelines
- Ideas to Get Started
Here are some questions to get you thinking:
• How did you find Gaylorism?
• What were the first songs that made you question if Taylor Swift is telling a gay story?
• When has the media or fan narrative around Taylor Swift not made sense to you?
• How has your relationship with fan culture evolved over time?
• How has your own identity changed and grown as a Gaylor?

0170

Cassandra Records @cassandrarecords.org · 01/09/2026

We have updated and loosened our submission guidelines, especially for visual art. We understand that the new guidelines still seem limiting, but they exist to respect the copyright holders as they have the exclusive right to publish their original work.

1140

Cassandra Records @cassandrarecords.org · 01/09/2026

Let us publish your stories and art! The purpose of Cassandra Records is to create free, tangible records of the Gaylor community. Our zines will be available digitally for free, and physical copies can be ordered for the price of shipping. For contributors of the zine, shipping is on us. 💌

Cassandra Records @cassandrarecords.org · 01/09/2026

Last month we announced The Gaylor Anthology Project. After our metamorphosis to Cassandra Records, our publication is now "Cassandra Records: A Zine Anthology" 🦋 Our first issue's theme is still "What does it mean to be a Gaylor?" More info on this change 👇🧵

We were reading records about Cassandra and learned she was often referred to as a madwoman, and in some later versions of her story she was locked away in a tower by her father, for her own "safety" 🤔 There's a lot to unpack here...
