Oh wow, 150 followers! That was sudden. Here, have a life size Bola hand (ft. my hand and a 5lb chicken to scale) I sketched a bit ago for fun/practice. It's 14 inches long, and 17.5 inches wide splayed out. I also roughed in an outline of her head to better contextualize it.

Crypsis is their main defense, but their fur tears out easily as a fallback method of escape. Captive cuspies don't know they're white, and may still pretend to be bushes if a predator is near, as seen on page 18. Their thick fur makes their naked legs and bellies important for keeping cool.

Those are feral cuspies, the same kind of animal Tonodzen keeps. Wild ones are green, having soft, thick fur that absorbs water and fosters a unique kind of algae that masks their smell and makes them resemble bushes or lumps of moss. Captive ones are frequently sheared, and remain white and fluffy.

Bola, the protagonist of the comic Cascade, confronting Peter Griffin at his front door. She is drawn faithfully in the style of Family Guy, complete with her colors, which are ordinarily not seen. Her skin is a greyish tan, and her mane is a deep reddish brown. Peter Griffin looks shocked, while Bola has a slight and relaxed grin.

I’d like to re-up the content warnings for violence, body horror and general horror elements for this comic as a whole as established at the start of chapter 1. You can treat those as warnings for the comic overall. Except for the centipede, it’s not coming back anytime soon. (pp. 37-40)

Happy Halloween! I'm pleased to present the start of Cascade's second chapter- Periphery! The pilot is being rechristened as Chapter 1: Natural Predator. Apologies for the long wait, now that my hand is (mostly) better it shouldn't happen again. (pp. 29-32)

Here’s a little bit of proof that I’m still alive and work has resumed- I’m thinking that going forward, pages will be made and released in batches of 8 or so. I’m deciding if these should be in threads of a few dozen, or if they should just be appended to the existing thread for easy navigation.
