so my friend thinks Pip has attached her safety to my house/me & anyone new that comes in my house she perceives as a threat to her safe space. This isn’t uncommon in dogs coming from a very traumatic and stressful situstion. Having this week away is going to be SO good for her.

I spent the last few days visiting my sister & her family, they’re in Vegas for a few months & I had to get over there to squeeze those kids! I had the best welcome home last night. Mama Pip was yipping & zooming for joy. I love that she has the freedom & security to express herself 😭

bottle raising newborn puppies is one of the hardest, most rewarding things I’ve ever done. The sleepless nights and nonstop worrying are so beyond worth it. I’m so proud of these big, sweet, happy babies.

her parents met her when I brought the puppies to Oktoberfest. She fell right to sleep in her mom’s arms and they felt it was meant to be. They’ve both had dogs growing up but she’s their first dog together. They were so excited to get her home! Cont.

his new parents met him at a softball game we went to! His dad plays on the charity league. They’ve been wanting a puppy for a while but waiting for the right fit. They loved this big baby’s sweet and happy personality. He has a dog sibling and will have such a fun life!

lil mama Pip is doing such a good job of adjusting to life as a house pet & part of a dog pack. Shes getting along well with all of my dogs & their varying personalities, she loves to play, & LOVES to snooze. Life is so good for this shelter dog! Shes going to be such a great bff for someone lucky

my heart is so full after Friday’s visit to assisted living with the sweetest puppies. You can just tell these pups love people and want to make friends. I’m so proud of these pups! They don’t even know how special they are.

watching squeak get to play with his “siblings” is the sweetest thing. It’s not normal for a poppy to grow up with no siblings to snuggle, play, and learn with. Katniss and Peeta have been the perfect tolerant and sweet playmates for our feisty guy 🥹
