Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 05/01/2025Not sure why we made it so tetchy for ourselves in the closing minutes, but three points secured, leaving us looking healthy... #safc 252
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 05/01/2025You'd be forgiven if you forgot Luke O'Nien used to be a goal-scoring midfielder a few years ago 🤣 001
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 05/01/2025Isidor a fraction offside from adding a 2nd, Mayenda needs to go across the 'keeper, & if Roberts could shoot, we'd be out of sight! 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 05/01/2025Even though there is only 7 mins on the clock, it's been coming! Great ball from Mayenda & clinical finish from Isidor. The pairing continues! #safc 020
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 04/01/2025Patto staying? "Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague." 000
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Do love RLB. Never gets carried away, always looks to make us better. Sometimes wish his subs were more proactive, but what a season he's leading us into. 011
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Thoroughly deserved win. Pressure, of course, from United, but Patto only really had one or two saves. We always looked dangerous and more likely to nick the third. Some strong performances from Neil, Mayenda, Aouchiche, Mepham. Brilliant win! #safc 011
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Mayenda has been outstanding. A goal, an assist, and a very mature performance up front. 011
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 01/01/2025United may have started the first 5/10 mins well, but we've been by far the better side....again. Although, Wilder is no doubt ready to claim otherwise 🤣 020
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 01/01/2025So, so, pleased for Mayenda! He's had his critics in the last couple of games, chances that will have weighed on his mind, but what a finish!! Getttin' 🔴⚪ #safc lead!!! 020
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Blackburn - a decent point, but really should have won. Stoke - definitely should have won. But, of all three, this is the one TO win!! Ha'way!!!! 000
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/12/2024I get all the "we'd have taken 4th at NY", but we are clearly now settled in our position. We aren't good enough to go up & will have to take the lottery of Play-Offs, if we can stay top 6 - hopefully we will. That's not being negative, but realistic. We are where we are, given the squad we have. 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/12/2024It was like watching us at Bramall Lane. All over the home side, didn't take our chances, and hit by a late sucker punch. Gutted 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/12/2024Fair to say, there are games we have clearly deserved to win, but late goals have cost us. At Ewood Park and now Stoke.... 000
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/12/2024Mayenda right, Aouchiche left, Aleksić in for Rigg! 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/12/2024Always had a 'soft spot' for Sheff Utd, thanks to family & friendship links, but Chris Wilder is an awful character. His recent interviews have been arrogant & conceited, so seeing Baggies tearing them apart, hot on the heels of Burnley turning them over raises a smile. Just as long we beat 'em too! 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 26/12/2024I'm sure pundits will say it was a deserved draw for both sides, but a bit more luck and we'd have won that at a canter.... 🔴⚪ 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 17/12/2024Interesting to compare tables now & in both 2023 & 2022. #Safc had 31pts from 23 games in 2022, 33pts last year. That had us 13th in '22 & 9th in '23. It's not too dissimilar this year, with Sheff Wed on 29pts & 9th with 2 games to play. 100
Reposted by Roy of the RokersThomas I-G @thomasig.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Got to hand it to Man City. Knowing how corrupt the fair play commission is, they’ve taken it into their own hands to dock themselves points… 0198
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 15/12/2024It's lovely to see Diallo becoming the centre of all that is good at Man Utd. A quality player that deserves the stage. Foundations, of course, #MadeonWearside 🔴⚪ 061
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 14/12/20247 points from 9, 6 goals in those 3 games. Guess we'd have taken that! 🔴⚪ 030
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 14/12/2024Worth mentioning, Jack Clarke assist (as corner taker) for Ipswich's late winner today. 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 14/12/2024Still tight at the top. What a comeback! Well done lads #safc 040
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 14/12/2024It's all change! What a strike from Dan Neill! Take a bow, son! Just catching my breath and Jobe puts us ahead!! Ha'way #safc 🔴⚪ 020
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Just need to put this to bed. Too many chances going begging, but if we score next, confident we can go on and add a few more. #safc 🔴⚪ 000
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Talk of Patto going to Man Utd or Spurs this January. If the figures of £20m are accurate, then I'd be tempted to let him go and make Matty Young our new no.1 110
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 02/12/2024Nice to see Amad running the show under Amorim. Such a wonderful player. 000
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Sky just having a laugh. Went to bed mulling over Roberts' penalty miss, woke up to Mickey Gray's in 1998! 000
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/11/2024First time I've heard RLB upset. He's totally right in being the better side, but we have to score. He's spot on. 051
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/11/2024What match was Wilder watching?! What side dominated the first 15/20 and the last 20/25? I'll give them the last 5, but otherwise it was the team in blue that was miles ahead.... 211
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Sometimes you don't get what you deserve in football. Better side by a clear margin. Yet a half chance falls to Tom Davies and it's taken away. Can't say we haven't had our own chances and we have to, must be, more clinical when we're dominating matches. 020
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Best team here by a country mile. Need to score when you're on top. Let's hope second half kicks on. 030
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Name a better defender in the EFL.... I'll wait. 010
Roy of the Rokers @carrima.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Kind of sums us up at the mo. Outplaying 'the best side in the league' on their own patch, created a wonderful piece of football that leads to a penalty, then tamely plant it next to the keeper's hand 😔 000
