I just found this at the bottom of a news report on a murder. Weird little peek at how the sausage is made. ("Dryden" appears to be the name of the attributed author on the story. The source is ABC7 News in the SF Bay area.)

It's #FridayReads and look at this: Deana was one of the very first people I met when I moved to Montana and she took me under her wing. I might not have made it through my first winter there without her. And now she's reading SMOKE SEASON in its natural habitat!
