My vet sent me some nice round rocks with the cats names engraved in them, along with their ashes. The rocks rest in my rose garden.

Salmon is absolutely delicious and easy to cook if you poach it in white wine. Take a deep frying pan place the salmon in skin side down. Cover the salmon with solution o half white wine and half water. Bring to a gentle simmering boil, cook for 5 minutes. That’s it. Yummy! 😃🥴😃👏👏

I gave up on being an artist to get a job to make enough money to support 3 teenagers and provide for my retirement. It worked. I retired at 69, went back and got a second BA in Studio Art. At 75. Painted a lot, sold a few. And my kids like my work. Dreams do not have to die. 😃🥴🥴

I did that and then I taught them to cook, more experiments. They have had good jobs, and now when we get together they cook me upscale restaurant quality dinners. Big payoff. 😃

Good for you. You can do that! I did that and my own revenge book was a 400 page doctoral dissertation, typed double spaced, so probably 200 pages. And it paid off, got me the respect t I had always longed for. I wish you the best with yours. 😃🥰👏👏👏👏

Yeah, I am 91. My doctor just did the same thing. I am being careful, but I did have two pieces of cake after my birthday dinner. And will again. 😄🥴

Yeah, me too. Sometimes I do stay up late, like 2 am, when it is a good book (serial killer thriller) and I have no respect for tomorrow now that I am 91.

I mostly tried to do all that before I started the car, but I did get caught out a few times. It was so reliable, even when U got lost, I could reach over and find myself again. After that, LA driving held no fears for me.

Oh yes! Me too. While in grad school, at age 40, I got a job that required driving all lover LA County. My Thomas Guide was my savior. Also a factor in getting me a later job, being comfortable doing that. Thnx for the memory! 👏😄🥴

You must be kidding. I retired from consulting at 69, so that is 4 extra years. Then, after a couple of years,went back to work teaching part time at a university for another 9 years. I am sure I am not the only one to work that long. Many do. 🥴

Maybe listen to a book being read? Or ask a friend who reads to tell you the story? Or break it apart in chunks. Read a little in the beginning, read the last chapter, read a part of the middle. Most novels reach the climax of the story about two thirds in. Read some there. 🥴. Good luck!

Both. I love holding the book and smelling the pages as I read it. I also love my Kindle, so light weight and portable. But real books from authors I trust for the best stuff to cherish. Kindle for my security book when I am on the move and do not know where I will have to stop And wait somewhere.
