“Jewish communities are waking up this morning feeling incredibly scared after yet another odious antisemitic attack.

“This is a time for politicians to work together to protect Jewish people – but some party leaders are instead using this moment to make political attacks.

“I am the only Jewish leader of a major political party and I suffer antisemitic abuse every single day. For other politicians to use antisemitism as a political football, especially after these horrific attacks, is utterly appalling and should be beneath them.

“We must also be very clear that any response to these abhorrent attacks that curtails our civil liberties would be wrong. For a Government to seek to use the pain of the Jewish community to restrict our right to peaceful protest would be a dangerous error. We must not respond to grave moments like this by turning inwards, or by clamping down on our hard won rights. Instead we must stand firm both in defending communities against such attacks, and by confidently protecting the right of all of us to peaceful protest.”

Excellent show of solidarity from all our MPs and leadership team. Israel's government, once again, is acting illegally and must face consequences. All human beings, whatever their race or faith, must be treated with dignity and respect.

Liv NERVO DJ is my friend. She was coerced by a very rich man leading a double life & tricked into pregnancy. Matthew Pringle has suppressed her with the legal might his wealth allows. She won the right to speak. META took it down. This is how women suffer in silence. ✊ @jolyon.goodlawproject.org

Massive Attack announce alliance of musicians speaking out over Gaza

Brian Eno, Fontaines DC and Kneecap say group will support those subject to ‘aggressive, vexatious campaigns’ by pro-Israel advocates Massive Attack, Brian Eno, Fontaines DC and Kneecap have announced the formation of a syndicate for artists speaking out about Israel’s military assault on Gaza who they say have been subjected to “aggressive, vexatious campaigns” by pro-Israel advocates. Posting on Instagram, the musicians said their aim is to protect other artists, particularly those at earlier stages of their careers from being “threatened into silence or career cancellation” by organisations such as UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI). By way of introduction, this is something I imagined for UNICEF, that Yoko graciously embraced & we co-presented at the UN GA. Directed by Michael Jurkovak who also created Yes We Can with will.i.am for Obamas campaign. I’m still imagining - this time I wish, with you ✌️❤️ youtu.be/L7IP4UlXvG8?...

After Ye-sterdays unbridled barrage of hate on X, I finally quit & am painstakingly finding n following all who share truth, hope & light to guide us on collectively. The algo meant I hadn’t seen many of you for eons, as you hadn’t me. I hope to reconnect. Together, we’ve got this. One Love 🤝
