thinking of all The Vampire Lsstat episodes and my favorite has got to be episode 3. yes there is that nasty gabriella sex scene but I can skip that and focus on the traumatic emotional roller coaster Lestat takes us on. so sad, beautiful, and vulnerable.

tried rewatching The Vampire Lestat and i just turned it off midway because I'm still annoyed at how it ended. still too soon to rewatch.

whereas, lestat in the show is living life to the fullest but in such a self destructive way. also he has an almost pessimistic outlook on life. which is such a bummer in the tv adaptation. like where is his love and fascination with human life?

360

𝕀𝕊𝔸🦇🩸 @carmillasbride.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

and to clarify, there's nothing wrong with that. but the writers did that a little too much to the point where he almost didn't feel like a morally grey character. the reason i like book!lestat is because he knows the actions he's going to make are stupid and that he'll probably regret them later

𝕀𝕊𝔸🦇🩸 @carmillasbride.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

now that its been a while since TVL ened and i have a clearer mind, can i be respectfully critical? by the end of tvl, I concluded that i actually didn't like lestat as much as I thought I did. and I think that is due to the writers wanting to portray lestat sympathetically.

tiktok is just now finding out P!nk is a zio. which is news to me. I thought we all did our homework back when people were listing BDS brands and people. I've had her blocked for a good year and half already. she sucks.

finished this. ep. 11 wasn't a cursed ep. it was actually entertaining. THANK GOD! but it suffered a rushed ending. 2 more EPs would've done it justice. Lu Qing didn't suffer enough in order for Xiao Fan to take him back. boo. wouldn't recommend this series unless you want to get ragebaited.

the bastardization of certain words needs to be studied one day. because why are people using the word "filler" to describe how bored they felt with an episode or plotline in a tv show. not everything is "filler" because you didn't get it or was bored or dont like a character on screen. 🙄

𝕀𝕊𝔸🦇🩸 @carmillasbride.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

me too. honestly I kept my expectations low that I actually told people they were delusional for thinking it was going to happen this season. my bad. i still think we only got half the story on those 2 and am looking forward to more DM.

020

𝕀𝕊𝔸🦇🩸 @carmillasbride.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

#tvlspoilers am i the only DM shipper who believes that are giving us more context of their relationship in s4? no matter how I felt about this season, i trust the writers enough to tie up loose ends.

𝕀𝕊𝔸🦇🩸 @carmillasbride.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

funny how people's only comeback "insult" about some of us not liking and critiquing TVL is "well this isnt the books, you fucking book purist!". not an insult and not a book purist. some of yall don't know the difference between hating on a show and giving genuine criticism. #TheVampireLestat

I will continue on to season 4 (when they announce it) but my expectations for that season will be lower. I think I set myself up by hyping up this particular season so much and I was left with disappointment. 😞

the two outfits for men

A photo of a dog peeking out of a car window. The placement of the dog and the person taking the photo — where the lower half of the person's outfit is reflecting off the car door — makes it look like the dog is wearing a button-up shirt and tan pants.

#tvlspoilers . . . . . you're tougher at grading than me. I would've given this a C- just because I feel like the actors did all the heavy lifting for this season. 🤣😭

not people speculating that they might skip right over the twins in Queen of the Damned and adapt parts of Prince Lestat. if that happens I dont think I will keep watching the show to be honest.

George Lucas being pro AI isn’t surprising at all when you remember that he was the poster child for sloppily filling his films with digital effects because of his dislike of the on set practical filmmaking experience and replacing the hard work of those who came before to suit his vision

what i find so ironically funny about The Batman pt2 delay is that these movies are depicting the early years of Batman. so he's suppose to be maybe in his late 20s. by the time that Part comes out Robert Pattinson will be 42.

Argentina 🇦🇷 v Spain 🇪🇸 asking football fans to root for one is like that asking someone whether they want to eat the last piece of bread with mold on it or the piece of bread that is watery/soggy. both aren't really that appetizing.
