From studying his business activities, it looks more likely that he is a large net destroyer of UK jobs. Kuenssberg is drooling all over him but like many of our credulous 'journalists', she doesn't bother to dig deep and suffers from total amnesia.

Laura Kuenssberg asks if it bothers Labour's Bridget Phillipson that people who create jobs and pay a lot of tax, citing, Jim Ratcliffe, move abroad - except, that's not the full story. My View: Did you know companies owned by Jim Ratcliffe have received public support worth around £630 million?

Yes! Noticing and making sense of language, making hypothesis about how it works and checking if we are understood. This makes so much more sense for language teachers than the model of think in English and translate into the target language pillar by pillar!

A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. It happened when agrobusiness interests dramatically transformed the plains without regard for drought, and created vicious dust storms that choked whole families to death. That’s what I think of when I read about data centers.

A screenshot, very fancy, kinda 1980's style to me--it's on a grey pastel page with a misty view of Adam Conover smiling benignly on the right, mostly overlain by a translucent text box--from rederiswrites: "Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having Al write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending Al emails or using Al responses on social media, or publishing Al flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's rude."
