Met up for dinner with an ex colleague who came out a year before I did, before we both left the company. We hadn't seen each other for 4 years; she's based in Oregon, and I'm in the UK. It was like we'd seen each other yesterday. It was so good to spend time with someone who just *gets* me.

Historian here. I'm currently researching how courts treated gender-nonconforming people in the early modern period. And TBH, I'm not finding much ancient hatred directed toward them - not none - but not that much.
