When you finally start writing again and you write something so vile it will make people rage-quit on page one and give you a one-star review. I did good today 😈

Finally watched The Rings of Power S2. Not a Tolkien purist, but this was hot garbage—gorgeous yet soulless, like Sauron made it. Only the Sauron/Celebrimbor plot worked (great acting). It just plunders LOTR for nostalgia bait. I don't care about any of these characters. SO BAD! #TheRingsOfPower

The length of the novels in my trilogy (500-700p) is by design. It's not a "come in, quick thrill, get out" story. I want you to feel each book is a season of a series, and you go on a journey in each character arc. The 3rd book is the final season where all threads come together for an epic finale

Well, as a fellow indie, I will recommend some indies! "Yes, Chef!" By Nykky Roadarmel was an enjoyable read of short horror stories. If you like eldritch horror, check out @carlosriveraauthor.bsky.social's White Harbor Trilogy. If you don't like horror, then I can recommend other stuff!

I wonder why people get so upset when a picture of a (biological) man wearing a dress appears online. It's LITERALLY just a piece of cloth and it makes them happy. Why is this so offensive to you? Y'all Karens and Kevins need to mind your own business.

After an entire age of Middle Earth, I finally watched "Longlegs". My hot take is I enjoyed it FAR MORE than "Late Night With the Devil". I found it scarier, better acted, creepier, and it didn't ruin the mood with misplaced digital effects. #longlegs #horrorfan #horrormovie #horrorcommunity

A supernatural/psychological trilogy about cycles of trauma and the consequences of not breaking them... plus a cult, a haunted town, monsters, rituals, serial killers, and a whole lot of toxic family dynamics. Read my "White Harbor" trilogy. LINK IN MY BIO #horrorcommunity #horror #books #authors

This. My White Harbor trilogy is freaking awesome. It won an award, and all 3 books made it to Amazon's Top 10 of horror by LGBTQ authors. The story is like "IT", "Uzumaki", and "Silent Hill" had a baby with serious issues. Also, they're $0.99 all December here: slashichorrorpress.com

I admire authors who write non-stop. Since I completed my trilogy, my brain went on cooldown mode (or cryo-sleep?). My next book is already complete in my head, but all I've written is one page... weeks ago. Can't bring myself to write. Too many things stealing my peace at once. #writingcommunity

4 towns that influenced the town in my White Harbor trilogy: 1) Kurouzu-Cho (Uzumaki) 2) Silent Hill 3) Innsmouth(The Shadow Over Innsmouth) 4) My hometown, Siquirres. All "cursed towns" in their own way, where the "cursed" people refuse to leave, their trauma feeding the town. #horrorwriting

#Horror fans aren't mentally disturbed (mostly). We're mature enough to enjoy dark, horrifying things knowing they're fictional. Why do we enjoy them? Why do we enjoy anything? People enjoy reality TV and that's twice as psychotic. #Horrorwriters though, we just like to make life hard for ourselves.
