I wasn't arguing. I think things get misunderstood when trying to fit everything in a small box. I fully agree with you. Impartiality went straight out of the window the minute they put reform on every QT panel and opened every news programme with reform stories.

Response received from the BBC regarding my complaint about the biased amount of exposure they are giving reform... Might as well not have bothered.

Our Royal Charter requires us to reflect and represent all the communities of the UK, and our Editorial Guidelines require that we must take account of the different political parties with electoral support to achieve due impartiality. In complying with this, we need to take steps to reflect those communities.

Reform is a relatively new party and we know that their voters trust the BBC less and as such we should take steps to address this as part of our ongoing commitment to reflect and represent the voters, whether this is in our news coverage or in other content across the BBC.

We hope this addresses your concerns and we appreciate your feedback about this. All complaints are sent to senior management and we have included your points in our overnight report. These reports are among the most widely read sources of feedback within the BBC and ensures that your concerns have been seen.

Also... Close the loopholes that allow the wealthy to avoid paying tax. No point in wealth taxes if the wealthy can avoid paying them, like they already do with other taxes. Closing those loopholes could raise tens of billions without raising taxes at all.

Iran's arsenal is huge enough to completely wipe out Israel in a single day. Israel's provocation could backfire on them in a big way. Iran has avoided conflict with Israel so far, but how long will that continue ? If I was Israeli I'd be doing everything in my power to return to my home country.

Ah... Bluetooth has been a major bugbear on many distros... You have my sympathy on that one... I suppose you've purged bluez, installed bluez and then installed blueman on top ? Proprietary Broadcom drivers can be problematic too. I hope you get it sorted. Once you do, it will be worth it.

I'm really surprised you're having trouble with it. I installed mint on my wife's old MacBook air that was whirring noisily every time she used it. It's given it a new life instead of disposing of it. Definitely worth keeping on with it. It does get easier as you learn.

I use Linux Mint. It's very user friendly. A lot of Linux distros can be troublesome but that distro just works, straight out of the box. It's worth a go if you ever decide to give Linux a try again.

South Africans are calling the 49 "refugees" the Voetsekkers, which is a combination to the word Voortrekker (Afrikaaner version of the pioneers) and Voetsek (Afrikaans for "piss-off!"). The country probably hasn't been this united since it won the Rugby World Cup in 2023.

I remember watching it. Something to get your teeth into on a Sunday morning. I don't like Sunday morning live, it's a poor replacement. I tend to keep the TV off until Sunday Brunch on C4 now. I just find Sunday morning TV annoying and would rather sit with a nice coffee and a good book.
