As explored before, I’m quite intrigued by faces in life drawings - particularly the shorthand required in capturing a face during briefer poses. Gaia's been modelling for Sunday Life Drawing since I restarted sessions after lockdown. Here’s a selection of details of pictures in charcoal and oil.

Beautiful scene in Caerphilly ahead of 2025 by-election when gaggle of far-right anti-NoS protesters were silenced by diverse crowd of antifascists singing Welsh national anthem. They obvs had to stop shouting abuse, but also couldn’t join in, so just shuffled about awkwardly until it was over.
