Preliminary figures on #ODA spending for 2025 show cuts in 17 EU Member States. The scale of the cuts is worrisome, and so is their disproportionate impact on those in the most vulnerable situations. Support to those with the greatest needs must be ringfenced.

🔴 We are concerned about the EP vote on “safe third country” rules – making it easier to send asylum seekers to non-EU countries, even with serious risks. Access to asylum in Europe must stay fair & dignified. The EU has a legal & moral duty to protect those fleeing war, persecution & violence.
